This tutorial will walk you through how to import a model, apply materials, basic lighting and create glowing LEDs. Then, we'll walk though two different approaches to animating the LEDs using KeyShot 8. To follow along, you'll need a license of KeyShot 6 Pro or newer. This tutorial relies on KeyShot Animation and Material Graph.
This tutorial includes a 3D model so you can follow along. The tutorial video's resolution is 2560x1440 and has a runtime of approx. 47 minutes. I go slow enough that most new users should be able to follow along fine. My goal was to spend time explaining how everything works, rather than simply telling you what to click on and what values to input.
As a bonus, you'll learn how to create a studio for each of your animations so you can seamlessly switch between them and easily make revisions.
